An intriguing evening of formal presentations, display of vintage tractors and machines and social chat.
The evening will cover the period of innovation from first 3 point linkage in 1936 to the first electronic 3 point linkage in 1986
The 3 speakers will be John Barron, Gerry Forde and Campbell Scott.
John Barron will speak on the Ferguson Brown to the FE35
Gerry Forde will speak about selling the first tractors with advanced electronics.
Campbell Scott will speak about the 500 Series and his time at Massey Ferguson during the launch of the new 300 & 3000 Series.
The event will take place at the Farm, Grenagh, Co Cork on Saturday 7th of March 2026.
It will start with an exhibition of tractors which will open at 6pm followed by supper served at 7.15pm with the formal presentations starting at 8 pm followed by a questions and answer session at 9.15pm. This will be followed by a social gathering in the bar.
This is a unique opportunity to discuss the evolution of something that we use every day, have taken for granted over the years and which has had a transformative effect on world agriculture and has made all our lives much easier.
There are a limited number of places available for the event.
